Boxing day at my Dad's house!

By the way, I think all Swedish people will agree on this; isn't it weird that "Annandag jul" is called Boxing day?? Why, are you suppose to be boxing? Or where Jesus boxing? Where the hell does this expression comes from?

For all who read this but doesn't know what Boxing day is in their language. Boxing day is the second day after Christmas Eve. Therefore Boxing Day is always the 26th of December. Boxing Day in Swedish is "Annandag jul"

Jair, me, Dad & Jack (little brother)!
On the way home from a short but nice Christmas celebration at dad, Linda & Jack's place! Jack got his third radio-controlled car. Dad and Linda got a chocolate-fondue-set, we believe that it will be popular at their place!

Bloging in two languages - testing, testing!

Vill du läsa det här på svenska? Klicka här!

I have recieved some requests from readers to start writing the blog in Swedish again but as many of you said definitely NO  ”the blog must be in English! I don’t understand Swedish!" So in order to make everyone happy, I will write in both English and Swedish from now on! Of course all my friends have to be able to read it :)

In the English version you can find all the earlier posts from the start of this blog, 2009. So there is a lot of Swedish posts in there as well. But I refuse to copy and paste all my posts since 2009 into the Swedish version as well....!!! Therefor, the English version of the blog will have some old Swedish posts.

I'm looking forward to write in Swedish again. After all, Swedish is my emotional language. I read that when bloging in a foreign language, you loose about 30-50% of your ability the express emotions... that's why we have smileys... no? Always I good way to express emotions!

Should I switch my blog into Swedish again?

I have gotten some comments that I should start to write my blog in Swedish again and I'm actually confused whether I should do that or not. Should I?

I decided to let you choose! After all, I don't really have any idea of who is reading my blog. Due to the statistics over one week the most of my readers seems to be in USA, Sweden or Germany. But I don't really know what language that you prefer...

Therefore, please let me know your preference by participating in the survey here in the blog (it's on the right side of the blog)! Please, please, please!!! It's totally anonymous!

I have to admit that I'm kind of proud that 307 people visit my blog in just one week!

Jair & air complainer

Jair and his dear air complainer
Of some reason Jair has confused the word "vacuum cleaner" with "air complainer". When he realized that he got it all wrong, he just said, but I like to call it air complainer. Really, this word would maybe fit for ours because it is making way to much noise! Maybe even the air would complain if it could... :)
