Wow, sorry for not writing… I guess the last post just took all my energy… Anyway, I will not write a lot this month or next month, because I’m going to travel again! Tonight, I will go to Rio de Janeiro and on Friday I will go to Salvador for three wonderful weeks!!!
And also, I have no officially switched to English in my blog; I hope that is alright for everyone. I know my grandma and grandpa are great at English so they won’t have a problem.
Since I got back from my trip, I have been sick twice… The second time was not very fun because me and my whole family got some bacteria in the stomach, everyone was puking… And all of us had to go to the hospital. I was the worst at the hospital and was struggling really hard to not puke or faint because I was all dizzy. All of us got drops and when they put the needle in my arm and I was already so close to faint, everything just went black and I started to puke… hmm not a very nice experience!! The weird thing is that this is one week now, and I can still not eat normally without stomach pain, so I can usually just eat one meal a day!!!
Couchsurfing – I just joined this website couchsurfing! And wow, I just wished that I knew about this website earlier. It is such a nice project!!! Mainly it is about 1.6 million people over the world that are trying to help each other to travel by offer free accommodation. But is so much more than just this… it is also to get to know new people!
I have known about it for a long time, but it was first when I met a guy in Recife that was from London that I actually realized that this project would be just perfect for me. I LOVE to meet people, I’m a people person with a passion for people! I believe that you can’t really know a country without living in the country, because you have to get to know the culture. Not read about the culture… you have to feel the culture, experience it… and to do that you have to hang out with the locals. Therefore, travel alone… or maximum two people and hang out with the locals. I believe that this project actually can let you know the country without living there.
So when I get my apartment back in Sweden, I will host people and show them around in Sweden as much as I can!!
Anyway, so I have already met some people from couchsurfing here in São Paulo. Couchsurfing has this great function that you can see nearby travelers so a lot of Brazilians have contacted me! One of them actually moved to Sweden to Gothenburg last week, a really cool guy!
One of took me to a Motel, that may sound a little bit weird as people usually go there to have sex. But it was the best place to hang out in, we didn’t have both a Jacuzzi and a swimming pool but we had a really nice Jacuzzi with a sun roof, which could open – unfortunately it was no stars that night. Anyway, I never thought you could have so much fun as friends in a motel!!! But we drank wine and talked all night in the Jacuzzi! We made a big mess by putting too much water in the Jacuzzi, so the place was soaked, it was all wet with soap and water… And Emma goes to get the wine… and on the way back… Emma falls on her butt with the wine!! But I was lucky I just broke on glass in my fall!! Haha!!
Another guy took me too SkyBar and wow, that was really amazing. An amazing view!! I so wish that I could capture that image I have in my head with a camera!!

This week that passed I have been on several barbeques, met a lot of new people… And wow, I just enjoy this country so much… I can’t believe that I’m really leaving in just one month. But I’m also happy to meet everyone at home!!! And I will probably be in Sweden for one year so I hope they are ready to have me back!!!
